Taieb Ketari
CHAIRMAN & CEO
Taieb Ketari is a distinguished leader in Tunisia's industrial and energy landscape, serving as the Chairman and CEO of El Hana Energy, a visionary company he founded in 2024 to spearhead innovative projects in renewable energy. His role on the Executive Board of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts (UTICA) underscores his expansive influence across critical sectors of the economy.
Driving El Hana Holding as its CEO and shareholder, Taieb has adeptly led the group to strategic triumphs, including the acquisition of the esteemed Movenpick Hotel Gamarth and realizing a pivotal share increase in Carthage Cement. Such strategic moves have significantly enhanced El Hana Holding's market presence and have cemented its position in Tunisia's industrial domain. With a longstanding commitment to the Poulina Group, where he has served as General Manager, and founded it’s famous construction materials division, Taieb has nurtured the conglomerate to its current stature with a capital of approximately 900 million TND and a turnover of around 3 billion dinars, making it one of the largest groups in Tunisia. His emphasis on development and keen insight into market trends have been pivotal in the Poulina Group's success.
As a frontrunner in the renewable energy regulations enhancement in Tunisia, Taieb's contributions are driving the country toward a sustainable future. His dynamic leadership and strategic direction continue to propel the industrial and renewable energy sectors to new heights.

Ahmed Ben Romdhane
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Ahmed Ben Romdhane serves as the Chief Development Officer of El Hana Energy. Simultaneously, Ahmed continues acting as Advisor to Total Énergies H2 for its Green Hydrogen Development in Tunisia and Egypt.
Ahmed began his journey with UPC North Africa Renewables in 2012, contributing significantly to various wind projects such as the Khalladi 120 MW project in Tangiers, the Tarouma 150 MW project in Laayoune, and the innovative hybrid wind/desalination project in Dakhla.
In November 2016, Ahmed was entrusted with the responsibility of leading North Africa's operations, with a specific focus on enhancing Tunisia's renewable energy portfolio in compliance with the provisions of law 12-2015.
Transitioning to AMEA Power in 2018 as the Regional Manager for North Africa, Ahmed demonstrated exceptional leadership by spearheading AMEA's involvement in Tunisia's inaugural concession program in 2019, securing a notable 100 MW Solar PV project and secured a majority stake in the first Medium Voltage Corporate PPA project in Morocco.
In 2022, Ahmed brought his expertise to Total Eren as a Senior Business Development Manager, assuming responsibility for North Africa. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in originating green hydrogen projects in Tunisia and Egypt. Simultaneously, Ahmed actively contributed to Total Energies' acquisition of Total Eren.
Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Financial Engineering from IHEC Carthage University and furthered his education with an MBA from Louvain School of Management in Belgium.

Sofiane Ben Chaabane
CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Sofiane holds 09 years of working experience including 8 years in Renewable Energy Industry and 1 year in Aeronautics Industry. Sofiane acts as Chief Technical Officer with El Hana Energy.
Before joining EHE, Sofiane worked as Project Development Manager within AMEA Power leading the development of wind and solar PV projects in Tunisia from 2021 to 2023. He achieved an important milestone by leading Kairouan 100MW Solar PV IPP Project to Financial Close, playing thereby an active role in developing the Country's first large-scale renewable energy project under a Project Finance scheme.
He also served as Business Development Manager from 2019 to 2021 with ACWA Power, and from 2016 to 2019 with UPC North Africa Renewables, which he has been involved in large scale CCGT, wind, solar and desalination projects in Tunisia, Morocco, and Cameroon.
Sofiane is currently acting as Advisor to ORNX Morocco, a JV between Ortus Climate Mitigation and Acciona Nordex Green Hydrogen dedicated to the Development of Large-Scale Green Hydrogen Projects in Morocco.
Sofiane holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the National Engineering School of Tunis in Tunisia.

Amir Khangui
SENIOR ADVISOR
Amir is Senior Advisor in Project and Business Development within El Hana Energy. Over the last decades, He has participated in the development of over 350 MW of Solar and wind Projects and more than 30 million m3/year of Water Supply Projects in North and West African countries.
Prior to joining EL Hana Energy, Amir served as consultant for UPC Renewables LLC, a worldwide leading global wind power developer with 2,000 MW of operating wind projects for more than 5 years.
Previously, Amir contributed to the financing and delivery of large-scale public transport and water infrastructure projects and programs in West African countries while he served as a consultant for the Transport & ICT Infrastructure Department (OITC) and Water Supply and Sanitation Department (OWAS) of the African Development Bank Group for more than 5 years.
